In my hall
Three doors down
Stands a girl
In a satin gown
Her eyes downcast
Dark hair long
Graceful nails
And lips turned down
Truly a beauty
To look and see
This sprite
This spirit
This ghost of me
She looks up slow
With eyes coal black
Hatred flowing
Nothing to lack
She curses so silent
Deep inside
For she cant say a word
As mute as a mime
Is the evil little ghost of me
She doesnt know
Its me to thank
For keeping her here
Warm and safe
Still she stands
Three doors down
With folded lips
And satin gown
This hateful
Hateful sprite
Spirit
Ghost of me

"All you umpires, back to the bleachers. Referees, hit the showers. It's my game. I pitch, I hit, I catch. I run the bases. At sunset, I've won or lost. At sunrise, I'm out again, giving it the old try. And no one can help me. Not even you." -Ray Bradbury
